Where is the Morvan?

The Morvan is in the east of France, in Burgundy and is a regional natural park.  It stretches over all four of the departments which make up Burgundy.

My garden is in Saone & Loire right up in the north of the department, close to the village of Cussy en Morvan.

The Morvan is ever increasingly under threat from the logging companies, altering  its mix of deciduous trees and pine trees.  If all the deciduous forests disappear so will the daffodil woods, the bluebells which grow in wild profusion, the wood anemones and the habitats for wild life will disappear.

So, I see my garden as a refuge in a changing world and I would like to share it with you throughout the year.
