Is that Daphne odorata, or is ‘daphne’ just the common name for another specie? If it is a Daphne odorata, it is huge! I used to grow a variegated form. I did not like it much, but or clients wanted it. The biggest specimens at the farm were not much more than two feet high.

It is Daphne Odorata and yes it is big. I guess it likes where it is planted.
